New CDC Global Water Book Now Available Online

For people who live in developed countries, safe drinking water is as close as the nearest tap. However, many people in developing countries are not so fortunate. They face many challenges in finding, hauling, treating, and storing water.
The Water People Drink is a 40-page book created by CDC and designed for all audiences, including children, to learn about how people around the world face these challenges. It was first created in 2003, updated in 2006, and has now been released in a new design, with updated information and new photos. The Water People Drink is available in two formats, optimized for online viewing and for printing.
