I just recently returned from Liberia, along with Rear Admiral Scott Giberson, the Acting U.S. Deputy Surgeon General.  Rear Admiral Giberson is leading the U.S. Public Health Service Commission Corps’ response to the Ebola outbreak, and I had the opportunity to be a part of this effort.

Our mission in West Africa is to care for the health care workers, so they, in turn, can care for the people in the region who have the disease.
