Tuesday Health.mil News Round-Up: DoD Releases Breakdown of Ebola Response Effort; Behavioral health advocates ready to provide support

The Defense Department released a breakdown of the numbers of DoD personnel involved in the battle to stop the spread of Ebola. The efforts, led by the U.S. Agency for International Development, involve 2,367 DoD personnel.

As Soldiers prepare to transition out of Liberia and into controlled monitoring areas, a few may face certain challenges such as stress. Some Soldiers may suffer from mild anxiety after being away from home. To help, Soldiers will look to their peers or seek help from a behavioral health specialist.
