By combining resources in a joint initiative between Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and the 633rd Medical Group at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, more than $1.5 million of taxpayer money has been saved in less than a year.
Social media is one way blood donors can connect with the Armed Services Blood Program in exciting ways. The ASBP Great Lakes, Ill. Facebook page has become one tool blood donors and their families can use to find a donation location or to see pictures or stories of others donating blood.
The UltimateMe PALA+ Challenge has been extended through the summer!
