New ASBP Deputy Director Ready to Make a Difference

The Armed Services Blood Program recently welcomed Army Lt. Col. Carmen Alesia Bell to the team. Bell, who has more than 20 years of military experience under her belt, is the new deputy director of operations for the military blood program. Her main goal: to ensure that enough blood and blood products are available and distributed to support our warfighters and their beneficiaries.

Air National Guard, Navy medics train jointly

The 126th Medical Group provided two weeks of medical assistance to the U.S. Naval Hospital Naples during their annual training at Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy, recently. The 28 Illinois Air National Guard members from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, experienced an opportunity to work with their active duty counter parts from a sister service this summer.
