Whats new for 2016?

Open House “Soap Box” lunch session
Any delegate at the event who has an innovative strategy, approach, service, project or other initiative that could potentially be useful to other participants are invited to share it with the audience. This session will be held during lunch and will be managed on a first-come first-serve basis. Interested parties will be invited onstage to present for a maximum of 5 minutes, without any visual support (electronic slides). This session will give everybody a chance to voice their opinion on subjects they find inspirational and worthy of sharing.
Research Speed Networking session
The research speed networking session will take place on Day 1 of the conference during the poster session and will be a form of professional ‘matchmaking’. Prior to the event, we will ask delegates interested in participating to fill in a survey of short questions, using the answers to match patients, researchers and/or industry involved in similar fields of research. They will be provided with the opportunity to meet face-to-face in a convivial environment on-site at the event to discuss their respective interests in the hope of sparking new research initiatives in the rare disease field.
